It carries a revised rim profile, now fully optimised for a 30mm tyre, and a wider 23.5mm internal rim to match how modern road riders set up their bikes.

"Fast, versatile and solid Strade disc wheelset. Spin up nice and quick with tubeless types (Conti 28's), hold their speed well. Cope with blustery days and cross winds, ride smooth, climb well and cope with Sussex potholes well. Great set of versatile wheels which you can use for training and racing and don't cost a packet. Delivered with tubeless tape and valves fitted on request. Very happy after my first year with them, and tempted to go large with the Chronos next year!"

Best for year round versatility

The Strade is a wheelset for going fast, regardless of how you ride. Now in its second generation, it's lighter, wider and more relevant to modern road cycling than ever.

It retains the differential rim design that set the original apart, with front and rear profiles tuned to the different airflow conditions each wheel faces. However the new profile is optimised around a 30mm tyre, delivering full aerodynamic efficiency at the width modern riders actually run, while lighter rims bring the wheelset down to just 1,270g.
