Parcours X Guildford Town Centre Races

This year's edition of the legendary Guildford Town Centre Races hosted by Charlotteville Cycling Club returns next week on 13th July 2022. Given we’re based so close by and want to be supporting grassroots racing, we are very excited that Parcours will be headlining the sponsorship for the women’s elite race with the winner receiving a wheelset of their choice.

The race is held on a short and fast circuit which takes in the historic cobbled High Street of Guildford, coupled with a fast and technical sweeping descent and tight corners, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Surrey Hills just round the corner from the Parcours office. 

Racers, don't be fooled by the short circuit length - you will be on the limit from the start and winners of this race need great skills for the fast and technical circuit! 

The evening commences at grass roots level with a series of Youth races, followed by the Local Heroes 3rd Cat race which includes goodie bag prizes from Parcours. Next up will be the highlight of the night, the Women's National B Elite/1/2/3 race sponsored by Parcours with the evening finishing with the elite men’s race.

The circuit is fast and technical and offers one of the few opportunities in the UK to race a town centre criterium with some cobblestones thrown in to add to the excitement! The races always attract a strong field of riders but above all the most unique element to this race is the incredible atmosphere and feeling of the crowd whilst racing.
